Activities at Frampton House
Activities are an important part life in the home as it contributes in creating a
caringand supportive environment that enhances residents' overall well-being and happiness.
We believe meaningful activity is essential as it promotes mental and emotional well-being, social interaction, physical health, a sense of purpose and autonomy, cognitive stimulation, and an improved quality of life for residents.
Lynsey's duties entail being involved with all the aspects of choosing, organising, and carrying out activities, events and day trips for residents.
Our Activity Co-ordinator is Lynsey Reilly -who organises all our entertainment and is responsible for the daily activities within the home and various trips out
We also have other activities

The Resident’s Amenities Fund
As a means to enhance social activities the Activities Co-ordinator organises fundraising events periodically. The monies raised are managed via a specific bank account which is subject to yearly audit. Examples of fund-raising events are Summer and Christmas Fairs. The fund supports outside entertainment, Christmas needs, and luxury items not provided within the home’s general budget. Fund raising events are supported and attended by residents, relatives, friends and the staff of the home.

With fundraising and fantastic donations from families we now have an interactive touch table, with many interactive games, sing a longs, puzzles and more for our residents to enjoy.
The home offers a range of activities including musical entertainment, quizzes, reminiscence activities, chair exercise classes, flower arranging, baking, card making (for family birthdays, Easter, Christmas, etc), board games, dominoes, puzzles, walks into village for coffee, Pub meals/visits, Sing-along, coffee mornings and afternoon teas. Various singing acts that come in to entertain. Short day trips are also organised where we invite family members to join us.
